Title: Super-Villian Team Up 1 splash (Marvel, 1975) Dr Doom !
Media Type: Pencil and Ink
Art Type: Splash Page
Artists: George  Tuska  (penciller)
Bill Everett (penciller)
Fred Kida (inker)

Back in the summer of 1962, during the Silver Age of Comics, Namor the Sub-Mariner and Dr. Doom become the 1st Marvel Super Villian Team Up with their diabolical partnership in Fantastic Four #6! 13 years later and by popular demand, they would headline Marvel's Super-Villian Team Up series in 1975 with their unique alliance of two highly narcissistic men who strangely, and against their own nature, have a mutual respect for each other. Further add that Bill Everett, creator of the mighty Sub-Mariner, lends his artistic talents to this opening page to make an even bigger splash for this premier issue!
This series, almost prophetic with making the villain(s) the star, helped herald the popularity of Latveria's Supreme Monarch which brings us to an exciting new era in his story --soon to be added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Rendered in ink over graphite on standard size Bristol board.
