Media Type: Pencil and Ink
Art Type: Cover
Artists: Jack  Kirby (penciller)
Mike Royer (inker)

Dynamic image of Kirby & Simon's creation, the Sandman, who is intended to be the Sandman of myth "eternal and immortal", despite his superhero-like appearance and adventures! The Sandman can enter the "Dream Stream" or the "Reality Stream" carrying a pouch of dream dust which he can cause anyone to sleep and dream. The Sandman's main task is protecting children from monsters in their dreams while having a balance of nightmares to deal with anxieties in real life. Further it's inked by fan-favorite Kirby inker, Mike Royer! This short-lived series is later tied into/explained in the fan-favorite Sandman (v.2) series. Rendered in ink over graphite on standard size Bristol board and signed by Jack Kirby!
