Title: George Perez’s DC Comics Sample Portfolio (1973)
Media Type: Pencil
Art Type: Interior Page
Artists: George  Perez (penciller)

George Perez’s DC Comics Sample Portfolio from around 1973, featuring Superman, the Joker and the Creeper! As the story goes he took Neal Adams advice and stopped inking himself hence why this is rendered in pencils. There is an inscription on the back of the piece, regarding the publication of some images in TCP fanzine. Ironically National Publications/DC rejected George's work in 1973 only to be practically saved by Pérez just 10 or so short years later! Rendered in graphite on 14 x 17" Bristol board, image is roughly 10 x 15". Don't miss a truly rare opportunity to own one of George's earliest works!
